In 1992 I was a teenager and had my own car. One night I had my younger sister with me and her best friend. We had been to Hermitage and driving back home to Mt. Juliet when I decided I wanted to take them down Tate's Lane. It was dark, but there was a full moon that provided some light. As we started down the tree lined lane, most of that light was dampened out. Near the half way mark, I slowed down and acted like my car had run out of gas. I told

them they would need to walk back down the lane to get gas, but they refused and started to cry. I told them they needed to calm down that they would

attract attention, and after a few minutes we had silence.
The electric windows were all the way down, and a cool breeze came through the car. The uneasy silence combined with the sudden chill in the air was a bit unnerving, and I felt a sudden urge to flee. I made a last ditch effort to give them the ultimate scare and gazed off to the right to pretend to see something scary but instead saw my sister staring off to the left (my side of the
