The railroad crossing by the lumber yard is haunted by a Union soldier. I have seen him on two occasions. I do admit I was a bit scared of him, me being a southerner and all and him being a Yankee but he did not act hostile in any way.
He stands by the tracks and looks straight ahead. Both times that I saw him he faded away after a few seconds. I work nearby so I cross that railroad crossing almost every day and have done so for many years but I have

only seen him twice in all those years.
So it's not something that shows up all the time.
