My mother-in-law lives in Portland just outside the town, and we drive this crooked road to get to her house every year. Well, around one curve is an old little creek in a beautiful setting. There is a house tucked tightly up on opposite side of road. I was under the bridge playing the water looking for Indian beads, and I heard this crying coming from the bridge. I looked up there several times and did not see anything, so I went back to playing

in the water. A few minutes later a little girl was in front of me playing in the water, actually splashing me. I started talking to her, and seconds
|
later she acted as if she was choking. When I tried to help her she just melted away into the water. Then I heard something on the bridge again. I looked up, and she was sitting on edge of bridge giggling.
It seemed as though someone was holding her throat. She was crying and then she fell into the water. She did not disappear into the water. I saw her there a good ten minutes tried to touch her but could not get off the bridge. Something held my
