Lived in Seymour most of my life and some places around here are ridiculously scary. The area where I live in Seymour Happy Creek is next to a church that houses a cemetery as old as TN. Most of the graves are of young children and infants.
Strangely enough the ghosts that appear locally are very rarely children. We see a lot of copy-cats like our living family members in rooms and reflections, they are nowhere around. Men and women frequent the

roads and disappear, violent screams and even scratches have even affected us.
So explore Seymour's ghostly nightlife at your own risk.

Comment by Justin: Where is Van farmhouse on Boyds creek? I can't seem to find it. It's supposed to be haunted.
Comment by Brenda: It is the Van Gilder house. It is the big white farm house next to the Van Gilder sub.
Comment by Will: They tore the Van Gilder house down. I went to high school with the daughter of the lady who lived there. She was very troubled in her old age and walked everywhere as far back as I can remember. That house was unfit for people to live in, and a buddy of mine on the crew said the smell and amount of garbage everywhere was insane.
