When I was a freshman in high school, so between 2006-2007, two of my girlfriends (J and R) and I went out to spend the night at a relative of J’s farm. Well, the two of them had really gotten into the idea Wicca and had even found a book on it. I never got to see this book close up, but J swore that there were spells and stuff in it. Well, J ended up having us follow her out into one of the nearby fields and around midnight several yards away from the house, so we could sit in a circle and do a “love” spell under the full moon. It didn’t go as planned.
First thing is that we barely got started, and all of our lighting went dead. Secondly within seconds any wind that had been breezing by just stopped dead. Then way off in the far distance I saw this little glowing light in the woods. I thought maybe it was from the distant highway that you can see during the day, but then the ball of light started to move around sporadically and up into the tree tops.

I don’t know anything that could have been doing that at that time of night in the middle of nowhere. Then we all started to feel some strange symptoms after sitting there for a bit. I felt like we were being watched and that a thick wave had surrounded me, making it almost difficult to breathe, like being trapped in the middle of a lake with no life vest. R complained of scratches, which we found out later she had on her arms and legs. The legs’ ones seemed odd because we had only been sitting in the grass, which was recently cut, and she was wearing jeans.

J said that she felt like she was boiling and that she had a headache. I had just finished telling them that we should head back inside because enough was enough when I swear I saw an unnaturally tall black figure standing a few yards away. I remember my blood running cold and going tense before blotting back to the house as fast as I could. I could hear the others following close behind.
We made it to the house and looked back, and there was nothing. The wind had come back and everything seemed fine. We didn’t talk about any of that again after that though they stayed interested in Wicca. What was really scary for me happened about a week or two after that.
I was in my own home, down in my basement on my pc. The door to the basement was left open, and it was the middle of the day. I think it was either a weekend or we were off for a vacation from school, and I remember being the only one in the house at that time. Next to my computer was a large old fashioned box TV. This TV still had knobs on it, and the screen reflected like a dark mirror.
