I rented a house in 2004 on S Superior Street in Angola. It was a small 2-bedroom house with an unfinished basement. I was a single mom with a 3-year-old son. He had a drum set we kept in the basement. Occasionally he would get up during the night and play in his room. I woke up one night to the sound of his drum set. I thought the little stinker was up playing, so I went to the stairway and saw that it was dark in the basement.
I decided to check his room first. There he was sound asleep, and I heard the cymbals again. My puppy then went and sat in front of the door to stairway and stared at it. I slept with my son the rest of the night. I wasn't ''afraid,'' but it definitely made the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

Another day I was sitting in the kitchen at the table paying bills. I heard little footsteps run across the linoleum floor towards me, so I looked up expecting my son to be there, and he was still sitting on the couch with the puppy. My brand new washer would be running sometimes too. I'd go to switch it, and the knob would be pulled out, and the cycle had stopped. No explanation for it because when I moved it never happened again.

I researched the house and found no history of death or anything regarding the house. It was on older home. I definitely got the vibe it was a child or child-like presence.

My sister and all of us lived in Golden Acres Trailer Park on East 300 N lot 37. My older sister and younger sister shared a room. In the middle of the night my sisters would see a black figure standing in their room, while they were changing, sleeping, anything. The black shadow had a large hat on that was more of like a jeepers creepers hat and wore a cloak. They would see this often, and so would my parents. They never spoke about it for simply it was just a figure of their imagination. We would hear people in the ditch line at night since it was right in front of a set of train tracks. So as we continued to hear people, my dad set up a camera in the back of the house, and they would have it on record.
