I was sleeping in my bed and I woke in the middle of the night looking around and the lights were on. I saw a black shadow zoom across the room. I felt myself float in the air. I told my parents; they told me to pray.

My family lived on N. Superior St. In Angola in the late 1960's. My brothers and I were in elementary school. We rented the upstairs apartment of a house owned by an old couple. My two brothers and I slept in the same room.
My older brother had his own bed and my younger brother and I shared another. Late one night when we were all asleep my older brother woke up and saw someone standing in the dark at the foot of my bed.
He thought it was me but he looked over at my bed and saw me and my brother lying there. It completely freaked him out. He cried out until my parents came. He was afraid to go to sleep with the lights turned out for a week.
