My wife and I just recently stayed at a hotel. It needs a much needed update, but then I have heard the stories about it being haunted and wanted to check it out. We went to bed around 11:00 pm. At midnight the room started to get brighter then dark and bright again, but it was not from any light source in the room. I looked out the windows, and there were no cars passing by. It happened again an hour later.
I rolled over to look at the room because

I felt like someone was watching me. As I rolled all the way there was a young child in a red long coat with a hood over her head just standing and staring

in front toward the room door. I yelled for my wife to look, but the young child was gone. My wife told me to shut up and go to bed. I buried my head under the covers and woke to the room getting brighter again. I rolled over and saw the same child with the red coat three feet from me.
I did not feel threatened but was scared. I flipped on the light, and she was gone. I did not feel anyone in the room after that. The next day we found the
