I have visited the old Gossard building at night. I saw something I'm not sure what it was staring at me from behind a curtain in a window. It did not seem to be a person. It was white with a rounded head otherwise shapeless maybe three feet tall. It just stared at me intensely. I froze unable to move then eventually was able to run. It was not what I would believe a ghost to look like. I could make out eyes in the rounded part I took to be the head,

but it seemed to be solid. I am unable to describe its body as it seemed solid but also shapeless, if that makes any sense. My guess of three foot tall

I would guess was closely correct. I felt kind of ill as I looked at the disproportioned body and how smooth and the white glow emanating from it. It was just not right. I had never heard of ghosts looking like this. It wasn't human.

The old Gossard building on Franklin Street in Bicknell is a building with a long history of hauntings. It was a garment factory that employed many women to make and garments back in the 1950s and 1960s, and many of the coal miners' wives worked there.
