We bought a house 6 years ago on Golfcourse Road outside of Bicknell. The house is over 107 years old. A lot has happened in the past six years. Doors opening and closing by themselves. The sound of footsteps in the living room late at night while everyone is in bed.
A dark shadow figure always seen in the living room at night. The thing that gets my attention most is the sad little girl in an old fashioned yellow dress. I have been awaked by her crying more than once over the years and have actually seen her many times.

There is an eerie feeling here, yet I don't want to move. I like the house and have learned to live with all the strange creepy things that happen here. None of my family will spend the night with me and some will not come into the house when they visit.

My mother lives on White River ave and has her own ghosts to deal with. Doors opening and closing. A strange cold breeze when the windows are closed. And she has seen an old thin man in overalls in her house.
My dad died in that house and his presence is strong there. Many have caught glimpses of him sitting at the kitchen table as I have seen myself.
