I live just on the back of the Scales Lake property. I've always known about ''Black Annie '' I never let it bother me. Never seen or heard anything from her either. But on January 1st 2022 between 2:39 am and 3:15 am I heard a five second low howl of a wolf sounding as if it was from not a wolf and not a human.
The howl lasted five seconds. Then nothing more the rest of the evening. I was playing guitar in the garage the entire evening till about

1:45. The whole time I felt as if I had an audience. Twice I heard an audible ''hey! '' I've lived here my whole life.
This is the first time anything

of such nature got my attention.

I have heard about the ghost of the librarian who haunts the stacks after hours. My friend was there after hours in the late 1990s/early 2000s to use the computer to video conference a family member in England. Since there is such a time difference they were in the library late at night. When my friend saw someone in the stacks she asked her mother who was working so late. Her mother who worked at the library said no one was in the library or working that late.
