I lived in Borden all my life, I grew up in the house by Kimballs. There is a little girl that plays in the basement and loves rocking chairs and ceiling fans. Come to find out her name is Karen, she died in the home when she was 3. And my 8 year old daughter would be related to her!.

In the southern hills neighborhood there is a house that has had several people die in it. Including a dog. It was foreclosed for a few years and during that time the top window would open and strange music would play.

I have some children as neighbors and the youngest one told me that he saw Mary the mother of the biblical Jesus in the same top window. This was the room that the first death had occurred in. Also I have a friend that me and her were sitting on the back porch when the house was foreclosed and she saw a little boy and a dog.
Surprisingly a little boy as well as a dog had died there. Also my mother had reported to me that she saw this same boy in the top window where Mary was seen. If there is any place in Borden Indiana that is haunted it is here.
