I have lived in Brownsville my entire life and I do love my home town. Yes Brownsville is very haunted and is known to be one of the most haunted places in Indiana. I live in the flat face brown house by the bridge and even my mother who never believed much in ghost knows it haunted. The town was established in the early 1800s and is filled with stories of deaths. One of the scariest places in Brownsville would have to be the cemetery on top

of the hill. I've seen some crazy things there that most people wouldn't believe. Brownsville has a great history and it's awesome to know it's still

lingering around even though it is decreasing more and more in population. To most people this is a bad town, but it is not, you just have to understand its past. Submitted by April
Comment by redd2@zoomtown.com: I used to live just outside of town, the house is gone now but to this day and I'm a 62 year old man that house was the worst. They say when my grandpa died in the house things from the ceiling just hung there. I myself have seen ghosts in the house.

: Stories about Brownsville haunting is quite true. I believe it's a hotspot for ghosts and spirits and even bad storms that comes towards Brownsville get blown apart, reform east of here, strange.
