I watched the movie and when it was over I walked back to his room and opened the door and my dad's girlfriends puppy ran out like she was scared. I walked in and realized that the light was off and the bandanna was folded up neatly on his bed.
I know I left his light on and shut his door properly and that the dog was not in that room when I went in to get the movie. I don't believe in ghosts but I do believe in demons. I honestly believe that a

demon was in that house.

My grandparents used to live in this house on West Substation Road about 15 years ago. We all swear it was haunted. The home was built in the 1800's and there have been many owners. One summer while we were sitting on the couch after working in the fields all day we heard the voices of four Union soldiers talking about getting their horses.
We heard them come up the hall in the old part of the house and walk through the dining room and through the kitchen and out the door. We wondered if this home housed Union soldiers or was a barracks.
We also wonder if this place was a school because sometimes we'd hear children playing out in the yard. We do know that it was owned by the superintendent of schools in Connersville. His name was Joseph Dale as the first owner and supt of Connersville schools.
