A ghost train has been sighted multiple times by the old canal by Woodland drive. The apparition of a train is seen almost every night if looking. It also can be heard.

Ghosts of Union soldiers have been heard at the home of the former John and Winnie Walker home on 2857 west substation Rd. There are four soldiers that walk through the old part of the home saying they are going to get their horses.
In that house there is also a raised part of the floor that lifts up that could have been used to hide slaves. This is in the fireplace room. Also in the fireplace room there has been a soldier seen warming his feet by the fireplace.
