I'm currently in college; but during my freshman year of high school my mom purchased a house on North Grand Avenue. It was a former house of teachers. Everyone who has owned the house has been single and later after buying the house married; as is also the case for my mom. We renovated before we moved in. One day I was upstairs painting the paneling white. I felt a hand on my shoulder, and then it slowly slid off. I turned around, and no one was there. I didn't really think anything of it; it didn't feel threatening.
One day after we moved in and had been there a few months I was falling asleep. As soon as I closed my eyes, I heard a female voice whisper in my face ''hey!'' I hid under the covers and forced myself asleep. It was weird. A few days later while my mom was in the shower, and we were getting ready for bed, and I was brushing my teeth; I told her that I had heard a voice. She opened up the shower curtain quickly and said the same thing had happened to her. She just thought that she was imaging things.

My mom dated this guy, and his brother also lived with us for a while. He spent majority of the time in the basement watching TV. Well, one day he came running up the stairs accusing his brother of pushing him off of the couch. His brother argued with him that he didn't. He was sleeping when the brother was pushed.

Fast forward to sophomore year. I dated a lot of stupid guys. One day whoever I was dating broke up with me. I was upset obviously. I was in bed that night crying, facing the wall. Then something pushed me in the back. I shut up and went to sleep.
My mom had this old desk from Mexico in the room next to her bedroom. She had French doors that connected the two rooms. One night she woke up, and a giant black figure was leaned over the desk. She threw the covers back over her head.
Later on my mom dated this other guy (soon to be fianc?.) One night they were in their bedroom, and they left the door open. I was at my dad's. My mom's dog started barking and growling. They looked up, and a person was standing in the doorway. Her fianc? jumped up and ran after him. He got to the back door, and the person was gone.
