I am about as convinced that house was haunted as a skeptic can be, short of shaking hands with a ghost. I would say that there were at least two ghosts, a man who seemed to be particularly interested in music (the one who would listen to me play and who made the fan clack in time with the music from my game) , and

a child (the footsteps in the kitchen were too light to be anyone over 50 lbs.) I also have an intuition that the man laughing at my bedside was not the

man who liked music.
What I cannot understand is why the house would be haunted. Until the last 15 years, the area was a mostly wooded hinterland between Crown Point and Cedar Lake. During the housing boom of the late 90's and 2000s, lots of upscale new homes got built. It was one of these houses that I lived in. The house is fairly new and only had one owner prior to my family. There were a few odd things about the previous owners that I learned
