from a neighbor, namely that the owners were swingers and had swinger parties in the house, and that the son had been sent to live with family in Florida to get away from some kind of trouble he'd got himself into up here.
Unless there is more than that, though, I do not see what would create a supernatural disturbance. I must assume that any supernatural events were tied to the land rather than the house, or to me personally (I have always experienced creepy

things in my homes, though this house was the worst.) I also learned from a neighbor that some kind of vagrant/hermit had lived in a van in the woods

near my house and that he had been driven off when the area began to be developed. Further, the house is within 5 miles of the abandoned boys school in Cedar Lake. All in all though, I do not have any satisfactory explanation for why the place was haunted. Any thoughts anyone? .
