I lived in a farm house in Floyd Knobs, Indiana when I was ten. I cannot remember the house number, but it was on Scottsdale Road. I remember the lady who owned the house told my mother there was an old man who lived in the house previously. He had a nurse who came in to care for him. The nurse reported people walking around and talking in the attic. She also refused to ever go back there. I often heard walking in the attic and in the kitchen as well.

A stray cat started hanging around our house and was eating my cat's food, so me and my mother took that cat way out in the country and dropped it off
|
near a farm.
The very next day I heard what I thought was my cat at the door wanting to come in and eat. When I opened the door it was the same cat we had driven out just the day before. Minutes later my friend's mother called and told us to check by the road because she thought she had seen my cat on the side of the road dead. Sure enough my mother went out there, and it was my cat dead on the road. Coincidence or not I will never know. We left
