Fort Wayne is the second largest city in Indiana, and one of its main thoroughfares is North Anthony Boulevard, a beautiful, tree lined street that runs north and south. Most of the homes in that particular area of town are near the century old mark, its original inhabitants long gone. When I was in my early twenties I lived in one of the homes on that street for several months. The house was full of character, and naturally being an older home it made

its share of bumps and noises, boards creaking, etc. At first, I didn't think much of the many noises and strange things that were going on in the home,

but as time went on it seemed as though the house itself was crying for attention.
One night we were all sitting downstairs in the living room watching TV when suddenly the upstairs shower came on and the sound of somebody taking a shower. We all looked at each other as if we had just seen a ghost, but we knew that no one was on the second floor at that time, so we just tried to ignore what happened.
