happened that night, and it was then that this newly married couple told me that they were picking up a good friend for a night out on the town. Their friend's home was located next to this same cemetery. I was told the road was Union Chapel Road. As you travel east, it turns into the Cedar Canyons area. My friends told me that as they were waiting in the driveway for their friend, they suddenly saw a dark figure in monk like clothing standing at the edge

of the cemetery staring directly at them. This cemetery is still there today. Nothing has changed except maybe some new tenants that have taken up residency

behind the old wrought iron gates surrounding it.

Before I moved into my house on the northeast side of Fort Wayne, it had sat empty for a year. I ended up renovating parts of the house, and one Sunday morning I was there alone working on the kitchen bulkhead (that space between the ceiling and the upper cabinets. ) I had just finished up painting the kitchen and cleaned up my paint brushes. After hearing a noise downstairs (it is a tri-level house), I thought someone else was in the house, but I knew no one else was there as there were no other cars in the driveway, and all the doors and windows had been locked after I entered the house. (Yes, I am paranoid like that). I found that the downstairs bathroom sink had been detached. The noises I heard was the water draining into the downstairs bathroom because of the trap no longer working as it was not attached anymore.
Once I cleaned up this second mess and turned the fan on to clear up the rest of the water mess left, I walked back upstairs and into the dining room. This was where I saw out of the corner of my eye, a man with black hair standing in the kitchen, inspecting my paint job of the bulkhead. He was wearing one of those old red flannel winter coats and a black hat with ear flaps. He vanished, and all I heard was him laughing as we scared each other.
