Another time, as I was falling asleep, I heard voices and glasses clinking in my dining room. I had the sense that people were playing poker or euchre in the dining room and heard someone say, ''she's awake. '' They immediately left, and I have never heard them since. Since I have put up blocks around my bedroom, not allowing spirits into my bedroom at

night, and now that my boyfriend lives with me, I have not heard, seen, or felt any spirit here. Although I do know that spirits still do wander through as the animals (two dogs and three cats) will follow something moving across a room and up or down the stairs with nothing being in the house, including bugs as the cats and German Shepherd go after those.
I do know that the housing addition I live in was built in the late 1950s to early 1960s,
