My husband and I usually stay at French Lick every year in February just to get away. One year we went and walked into our room and our hair stood up on us instantly. Then we ventured to the top floors where there is the most activity. We felt like someone was behind us. We just kept looking back, but no one was there!! Then one morning I woke early at like 5 am, and of course you have to smoke outdoors, so I took off. I got off the elevator and was walking down a hall, and all the lights went off in the hallway and stayed off for a few seconds. I was walking so fast and was so scared!!.

Before this resort was renovated, my husband and I stayed here on a business trip. We asked for top floor as usual. When we got to the top floor we looked down both hallways and they were so long, forlorn and scary looking we went right back to the front desk and asked for a room near other people. We then got a room on the first floor.
