Even though we never saw the 7th floor which was very mysterious I might add there is definitely some presence in the hotel that makes the hotel seem so paranormal and make you feel weird.

There's only 6 floors at west Baden. The first floor is the lobby. The room numbers all start with 4000. So you have 4200s 4300s 4400s 4500s and 4600s. I lived there on the third floor with two French doors from 1976-78.
Yes WBS & FLS are haunted. I saw the ghost of one of the Jesuits there and I have stayed in that room twice since the reopening. But I have never had anything sinister happen or have ever felt any bad vibes.
I am extremely sensitive to this kind of stuff and I have stayed at the reopened WBS over a dozen times, FLS 50 times and nothing scary has ever happened to me or my friends. My daughter's first visit to WBS was in the 1990s when the hotel was literally falling apart and she was 2 years old.
She fell in love with it then and 25 years later loves it as much as I do. Oh and I met her daddy my husband of 37 years there when it was Northwood Institute of Indiana. I would gladly live there again.
Either hotel for that matter without any hesitation.

When I went to stay at WBS hotel Indiana with my husband sister brother and my two kids Alyssa and Andrew we went to visit family. We checked in and got the 7th floor. Later on we put our bags in our rooms.
My brothers were sharing a room and my sister was sleeping on the floor in our room with Alyssa and Andrew. Later on in the middle of the night Andrew (who is only 4) woke up screaming and my daughter Alyssa (who is only 2) woke up and started crying.
