The second thing occurred on a bright sunny July morning when my brother, 17 at the time, woke up the entire family around 7:30 in the morning, screaming that there was someone in his bedroom. The commotion was such that we all ran outside and asked a neighbor to call the police. The police did a real good search of the house and found nothing. They did find that all of the doors and windows, save for the one we had ran out of, were all locked from the inside.

In the end we wrote it off as a bad dream. Until later that night when my brother described his dream.
According to my brother, it wasn't a dream.

He said that he was awakened by the distant sound of lawn mowers and the birds chirping outside. As he lay there in the dark, the light directly above his head came on, and there, inches from his face stood an old man, looking down at him with his hand still holding the pull string that turned on the light. The old man didn't say anything, and even if he had, my brother wouldn't have heard it because he was too busy running. The description of the
