I use to live on Monroe. I had complained to the landlord about this slimy stuff dripping down my walls, and there was a really bad smell in the air. He told me it might be a raccoon peeing in the attic, and he would investigate. A couple of days later my dog started barking crazy and facing the opposite way. I thought he was just nuts. Then a week later I would catch myself falling asleep as well at times. The windows were closed because it was winter out. The back porch you had to use to throw out the garbage. The porch was enclosed, but there were flies coming in and all over the porch as fast as I killed them with a rolled newspaper. Then I got angry that I could not kill them I went and threw the garbage out.
A month later my dag and I had not been feeling well. I would catch myself falling asleep. I would invite my friends over to hangout, and I caught them passing out. I had bad headaches, and they did too. I had gone to my girlfriend's house and spent the night. I went home the next day and when I showed up the doors and windows were wide open. The landlord told me we had a carbon monoxide leak. My dog had to be rescued and was taken to pound to be monitored. The lady that lived next door was evil, and so was her daughter. Two evil women.

I lived in the third apartment in the building when I was 13-14. I have had so many scary experiences. The lady that lived there right before me tried to warn me, but I had to learn on my own things. I will never forget. The cabinets would fly open along with the drawers. One day I saw a guy in an army uniform. I woke up one night to a flute playing taps and heard a party in the pantry / laundry room on numerous of accounts. Once I was slapped in my face, and I have seen so many things. The ceiling fan had Carrie written on it, and it just started spinning out of control. I can't even begin to explain what was in that apartment. I lived there for a year, and everyday was something new.
The girl that lived next to me in the last apartment, her name was Carrie. Creepy seeing as that was my name, and the name on the ceiling fan as well. She was into witch craft and made things worse in that place. The situation grew into more than just a ghost. We had Indians dancing, people knocking on walls, dancing blue lights, little kids in the hallway, and just very scary dark shadows that could be seen at anytime of the day or night. When I brought this up to the landlord he just said I was on drugs and blew me off. He would not disclose the history of these apartments. I can't even watch a horror movie to this day, and I am 25 now.
All I know is whatever was in that building was real, and I never want to encounter anything like that again. I still have nightmares about the girl in the lace white dress. I think it was her father that died in the army. I'm not sure who she was, but she was the only thing in that house that wasn't out to hurt me. I know I felt at peace whenever she was around. I was placed in a mental hospital after moving out, but I am not crazy. That stuff was real. Be warned those apartments are evil!!!.
