Comment by Roy: I used to date a girl who lived in unit D. She would tell me things about her house; I thought she was insane. One day I was helping her mom move some furniture and a large vase was thrown at me. We soon broke up. I never went back to that apartment building.

I lived in a house on the 5700 block of Eerie Ave. Behind the old Hammond Tech school and had some weird things happen there. I came in late one night when I was 16 or 17 and felt someone watching me, I went into the kitchen and saw a man looking in the window? Well I was a tough kid and not scared of much so I went out the back door to confront him (never taking my eyes off him) as I opened the door he disappeared in thin air? I have had several different experiences where I felt a presence over the years. My last one was a few weeks ago in which I felt I was dreaming but my wife heard me arguing with someone (she heard both sides of argument) saying my God is stronger than you and me ordering them to leave! I hope it was just a nightmare.

I was harassed for about 15 years in my home on Birch Drive in Hammond by what I believed to be demonic forces. I will not release the address as I believe that it was not linked directly to that address. I moved to Griffith and continued to be harassed as was my 1-year-old son. Experiences included: Something getting into bed with me, a man standing in my family room at all hours of the day (believed to be a manifestation of my nightmares,) doors unlocking themselves and swinging open, dark shadows walking into my kitchen and coming out of my sons room when he was napping, dozens of candles lighting themselves after being extinguished, 4-5 toys all going off at the same time at about 3 in the morning followed by my sons blood curdling screams.
The last straw was my mattress being flopped up and down when I was in bed. Not sure if I was followed or if it was pure irony that I experienced the same problems when I moved. I did find out later that the man that sold us our house in Hammond also had a family member that was murdered in a satanic ritual. Take a wild guess where it happened? The apartment below where we moved in Griffith. Could have been linked.
