Pennsy Station which is now the Hobart Chamber of Commerce is extremely haunted. Sightings include soldiers and other things, the fans and lights turning on and off on their own, and doors slamming shut. The address is 100X Lillian Street in Hobart Indiana.

This is my third posting on this website (previously anon airboats). I made two postings about the Traeger family. I am 70 years old and have been around unexplained occurrences all my life. I live in a house at the dead end past Penny Park. My house was built in 1874.

Shortly after moving in around 30 years ago, I was down in my basement directly under my kitchen with my two cats. I heard short tapping steps going across my kitchen. Both cats and I heard them. The cats went up the steps and came flying down like their tails were dipped in turpentine. I went upstairs and looked out both ends of house. This is what they call a shotgun house. You stand at front door, and you can see all the way through. There was nothing.

I asked my neighbor next door about the house and any unusual sightings. He said ''What did you hear or see? Was it the footsteps across the kitchen floor or the old lady in the back yard? I live a block and a half from the old pens depot building and had the same feelings vibes.'' When I heard the short tapping steps across the kitchen floor, no one in my house made them because they all wore rubber sole shoes.
My two most memorable experiences prior to this was pulling midnight watch duty in hangar 1 at Lakehurst, New Jersey where the airship Hindenburg crashed in 1937. I also stood over the wreck of the USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor. Plus a few more. Besides, they are out there.
