I live by the Hobart Cemetery, and I visit my grandfather's grave sometimes. I sometimes feel chilly for a moment even though it's summer. I don't know if it's just me or a ghost. Submitted by Nintendo
Comment by Giwanimek: I have spent much time there for over 50 years. Plenty of spirits there but never ran into any cranky ones. Never heard the baby crying. Very beautiful place. Was there yesterday out in the Creek Junction.

I have recently moved into an apartment in Hobart. I have felt like the apartment is haunted. There have been strange occurrences. I wanted to know if anyone knows of any crimes or anything that might have happened at these apartments. If so, email me if you know... Cwalker7109 @gmail.com.

Comment by Possum96: Just curious which apartments? Is it a complex? Not the unit number or anything just the building(s) name... Researched local haunting lore and crime history for a few years.
Comment by anonymous: If they are the apartments near Cleveland Avenue, the whole area from the railroad crossing to and including Illinois Street has numerous unsettled spirits from some horrible and or unexplained deaths.
Comment by Jacob: The one by the YMCA?.
Comment by Anon: Family of 5: mother, father, and 3 children killed in auto train accident on June 22nd, 1928. Accident at Cleveland Avenue next to Hobart Cemetery family all buried at Crown hill Cemetery in New Chicago.
