I was 28 years old and lived in the H. Apartments across of German American Bank. My sister and I would sit on the couch and hear footsteps coming down the stairs. I told my sister that it was nothing.
Well one day we heard it and I saw an apparition. My sister ran up to me and said that's the man that reads to me at night. I was scared and grabbed her and ran out of the house. We moved a year after that.
She says she still sees him in her dreams.

I lived in Holland Indiana when I was a child in an old house that was 2 stories. I know I isn't crazy but I can sure tell you that old house would talk to me and my step brother. We would hear an old woman and kids quite a bit.
The woman would say clearly. No running in the house an the kids would giggle and move our toys around on us. My brother and I used to argue because we thought each other moved one another's toys. We had a Siamese cat and a dog named Moses they would bark at the air.
Just stand in the middle of the room and look up and bark. But we never saw anything. Igy was our cat and she would hiss and spat at the air. Nothing was there but her ears would lay back and she would hiss and carry on...
