We lived in Huntingburg, Indiana. I used to sleep on the couch and always felt like someone was staring at me from the stairwell leading to the attic. One day I swear I saw someone in black just looking at me, and I locked eyes with it. It sat there looking at me, so I got up and went to the bedroom. One day we found a conch shell in the basement rafters. We washed the shell, and that same day we started hearing laughter and giggling from the basement.

Then one day we heard a bunch of noises in the attic as if someone was throwing a tantrum and was thrashing around breaking things. It lasted about five

minutes. We were in our bedroom cleaning when we heard the stairs creaking as if someone was coming down from the attic. My wife and I closed our door and grabbed our daughter from her crib.
The footsteps kept coming, we heard them cross the living room floor, so we placed a chair under the doorknob to keep someone out. (We were the only ones in the house. ) Then all of a sudden the footsteps stopped right outside our door. We got quiet and looked
