the screen door on the back door began opening and slamming shut repeatedly. I didn't think this had anything to do with the ghost at first. I blamed it on the stormy weather. Until it stopped suddenly and then the basement door began banging! I had a large butcher knife jammed into the frame around the basement door to keep anyone from getting into the house through the basement. We had a problem with a vagrant coming into the basement in the past.

When the basement door was banging back and forth, kind of like the special effect departments in Hollywood would make, so it would look like the door was breathing. That is what it looked like, but with no special effects people working on it! Being a bunch of women we grabbed knives, bats, and dogs, and removed the knife from the frame and let the dogs go first into the basement.
