Ill tell you a true story about Laketon Indiana. I grew up in Laketon and I can honestly say I've never heard any ghost stories but there is one paranormal story I can tell from experience and that's the eel River skunkape.
The first time I've seen the beast when I was about 9 years old myself and two friends were down on the east side of town in ''the trails'' which is actually miles of private dirt bike trails. Well anyways me and my buddies were

down by the river riding our mountain bikes and we were on our way back into town headed for under the bridge it was just about dusk when we heard a scary

animal cry we all looked up towards the top of the hill cause it's like a valley.
Anyways we all saw this redish colored Bigfoot looking beast up in the brush and smelled terrible like a skunk and the thing took off on running like a man. We were so freaked out we took off the other direction as fast as we could.
Needless to say when we got back into town no one believed us. Well a couple years down the road on the history channel I was watching
