I worked at the Crowley Center back in the early 1990s. On one unit the faucets used to turn themselves on from time to time. Maintenance insisted it was a water pressure issue. That was what we always told the kids. One evening while I was working the rest of the staff took the kids to the gym for rec time. I stayed back because I had paperwork that needed to be done. All alone in the unit I was working at the desk when I heard one of the showers

turn on. I thought somehow one of the female residents had managed to hang back which was against the rules. From where I was I could see both shower

stalls. I thought I can wait, so I watched for someone to come out of the shower.
After a couple of minutes the water turned off, and I was sure I was about to catch the culprit. I waited, but no one came out. Then the water went on again. I thought someone was playing games which annoyed me because I really had a lot of work to do. After a few moments I heard the water shut off again. When still no one appeared I decided to quietly sneak down the
