I grew up in Liberty Mills until I was twelve with my grandparents raising me. Their house was haunted. New owners own it now, and it has been remodeled for quite a while now. One night my sister and I were trying to go to sleep upstairs in our room. We at the time had to share a room and bed. When you go up the stairs to the right there is a small room, but when you go upstairs is the big room. In the small room if you walk in and go to the right, there

is a closet with no door, and to the left was a small window. My sister used to tell me every night that she saw something (trying to scare me. )

one night she said it, and she told me if she was lying that I could hit her in the face as hard as I could, and she wouldn't hit me back if I just looked. So slowly I rose up to look. It was a black shadow coming slowly toward us. I swear this is the honest to God truth. I started crying, and we heard our grandmother coming and saying ''what in the hell. '' As we were hearing her coming the black shadow figure turned around and walked back to the little
