I was in Madison Correctional Facility for about a month. It was in November. I had to use the restroom at about 3 3:30 am. As I walked into the washroom every sink one by one full blast came on. The craziest thing I heard was when my bunkie was sneaking to smoke in the basement area.
I guess inmates would write on the walls. She was trying to read what was on the wall in the dark and all the sudden in her ear she heard a girls voice say ''go ahead turn on the light! '' she was so freaked out.
I also heard many stories about girls getting tapped on the shoulders while sleeping. I also heard pssst in my ear several times. I was always alone. I always had a sad feeling there. Not because of my situation.

It just always felt odd or off. Sadness or loneliness. I could never sleep comfortable there.

My father worked there for 32 years. He lived at Kemp Hall. I stayed with him every other weekend as a child when I was a teen. We where filming a project for my school there in the basement of Kemp Hall and got some really interesting things on film from phantom lights that made us stop filming and a dark figure passing through a doorway.
