It was about dusk one summer day in 1969 when we arrived for the first time at a place that was supposed to be haunted (its where the high tension wires are now and blue River cross 52 east out of Morristown to the first road north I think that's CR 800 or 850) and came across this old farm house that was empty.
So we all got out of the car at one time closing the four doors at one time and I don't know if that tripped something from the unknown

but we were at the fence in front of the house about to climb over it, and all hell broke loose. First it sounded like a woman screaming bloody murder
|
for her life and a man being hurt and at the same time there where Indians chanting where it seemed like it was coming from under the bridge. Then a big roar of what sounded like a bear, then cows being butchered. They came from over the top of the trees and a bunch of dogs barking from high in the trees and all disappearing to the rear of the house.
Needless to say we all jumped back in the car. Then it was all quiet again like nothing ever happened.
