I was raised in Mt. Summit. We lived in a very large home on top of a hill on a long lane with a lake in front of it. I lived there for 22 years. It was a very old home. It was taught in our school that it was the ''underground railroad'' for the slaves. I have seen and heard many things there. They never tried to hurt me at all. I have seen a ghost of a man outside by my tree house. My dogs even saw it. In one room the window would fly open. My mother

got mad, so she nailed the window shut. In the same room we heard banging on the walls every night. Come to find out years later after my parents sold

the house that the new owners tore down the wall in that room. They also found a secret staircase going up to the roof of the house. Wow.
