said ''welcome to Brown County, everyone who lives down here has their stories of the paranormal''. He said he had seen a similar spirit on the road while driving at night but always disappears after few seconds. I made a point of leaving before darkness set in. Submitted by James

As a child age 5 I remember walking down a trail in Brown county and being stopped in amazement. I saw an Indian woman lying on her side perched on a large stone smiling back at me while she seemed to be sparkling almost as if the sun was reflecting off of her, making it almost blinding. From what my mother later said to be true was that there was a Native woman who had fallen to her death of a nearby cliff in that nearby area. I'm trying to research the incident now that I'm 36.

My boyfriend and I rented out a cabin for an extended 4-day weekend. Each night we stayed there we heard several noises: doors opening, creaking floorboards, objects going missing, dishes rattling, muffled conversations, and the toilet even flushed by itself. We got so scared. We didn't want to stay the last night there. Submitted by Anonymous
Comment by Leena: Do you recall the address or road where you rented the cottage on?.
