I was 9 when I discovered my first real spirit that walked the earth. My mother had been dating a farmer that lived just south of Oaktown, Indiana and he was working on this unusually warm fall day. As I crossed paths with my mother in the kitchen of this old farm house a shadow caught our eyes.
A woman, maybe early thirties, late twenties walking up the concrete path from the clothes line just a few yards from the house. From her shadow it was

clear to see she wore a bonnet as well as a long apron. The woman was fairly large with a womanly shape clearly to have given birth to children years
|
before.
She walked the path then vanished. We waited to hear a knock. It never came. She disappeared. As well as many families from Indiana have. Their stories, their families, gone in the drought, dust, and downpour.

I live in a haunted house in Emison/Oaktown, there have been 2 murders there. You can feel it when you're in my house.
