Comment by Janzen: I have served a sentence there at Plainfield old boy school. When I was there few years ago it was made into a short time offender program and still is. Yes, it's very haunted! I had a ghost grab my shoulder in dorm 9 closest to the chow hall.

I moved into the area several months ago. I have always been slightly sensitive, a bit maybe possibly? Anyway what the heck is actually up with this town? I saw a woman in a 1850s dress looking out of a 3rd story window this past weekend at the intersection of Center and 40.

I saw a dark shadowy figure cross the parking lot of a convenience store at about 3 am and I have also seen figures moving around the downtown area the same time. The park is ridiculous during the day and night--it's like everything is on repeat.
I've seen people in 1800s fashion walk around the park. Again if there is any local lore or explanation to this town please let me know. Because what the heck?!?!.
