Ethel Jones Elementary is said to be haunted by several spirits. I do not remember the stories behind it, but I believe it is. I had several odd things I could not explain when I attended there from 3rd to 5th grades.

My boyfriend and I have read all of the legends and stories about this road. My dad has a buddy from work that lives on the road who claims trolls and gnomes live in the woods. He claims and that they stalk his house.

According to my dad, his work friend is a pretty serious person and wouldn't lie about something like that, especially working at the mill with all the tough guys who would make fun of him for believing in that type of thing.

I told my boyfriend this story as well as a few others, and we decided to drive out one night last fall. It was late around 11:30, and as we were coming around one of the curves near the large sand dune, I saw a white human type creature crouching down in the tall weeds. As soon as the car got close to it, the thing jumped back, and I'm assuming either hid in the weeds or went down the hill.
I was super shaken up. I'm sensitive to supernatural or spiritual things, so I'm pretty used to things that go bump in the night, but I was unsettled for days after that happened. I can't get the face out of my head.
