We used to live in a house on the corner of S 8th and A, and it was full of bad energy. I don't know if I'd call it ghosts; it was more like an evil spirit. Most remarkable for me was when my sister and I (she was maybe 9, and I was 6) were home alone. We locked up the house to be safe when we went to go take a bath. Doors and windows. Broad daylight. We took our bath, got out, and realized all of the kitchen windows were unlocked and open. The door was unlocked as well.

No one was home still because we called out to see if there was, as we were scared. But then as we were standing in our kitchen, the silverware drawer started shaking, and you could hear all the silverware clanking. It was a violent jarring shake. We called our dog and ran outside into our drive way to get out of the house. We were so scared. It was still shaking when we ran out.
Lots of other stories, but that is the one that has made its mark on me. Every person in that house from my parents to all my (4 older) siblings and myself have had experiences there. It supposedly used to be part of an eye doctor office. I was also told there was a fire in the garage where someone died. Possible death in the attic as well. I cannot find any history on the home. The county took the house after we left, and it was rented out a couple times. Now it is beat up. Some of the windows are boarded, and it's vacant.
