There is an old 1890s home on Thirteenth Street where I had a rather unsettling experience. It was around 1978 or so. The house was brick, and we were there visiting. I was left alone there, at age about fourteen, and was sitting on a sofa watching TV. I noticed that there seemed to be some movement out of the corner of my eye. When I looked up, there was a sort of shadow moving across a stained glass window near the front door. Well, I said near the door, actually on a wall by the door, at 90 degrees to it. Not being too familiar with the house, I assumed it was someone on the porch, when I realized suddenly the porch did not continue past that window. In fact that window was some ten+ feet off the ground, so no one could walk past it and cast a shadow.
About the time I realized this, a very distinct face shape came up towards that window, but not a solid human face. It was more an elongated triangular head, wide at the top, with large dark eyes, and a moving mouth. Although no sound came from it, I was sort of transfixed by seeing it, and then heard a car door slam. Immediately, the door opened, and the face just vanished. When I asked if there was anyone standing outside, looking in that window, my Aunt replied ''no, it's just me. No one is outside on that side of the house. ''
It was about two days before I admitted what I saw, but after telling it, nearly everyone living in the house had either heard or seen something associated with that window.

One day my brother, and, my dad, and I were watching Destination Truth, and my dad was in the kitchen. My brother and I were sitting on a couch, and I got up and stood looking at the TV and he said ''you can summon this creature if you whistle at a high pitch. '' Well, I told my brother to whistle so he did and next thing I know a brush comes flying at me and the week after that me my brother and my mom were in the kitchen. We had a black shihtzu dog. It was small, and it could not get back down the stairs. My mom said ''hey the dog is going upstairs. '' I said ''I got it,'' and I looked everywhere and no dog. Well, my brother said ''there's the dog sitting on the couch. ''
