No hotel was located at Meyer Manor. Just the Meyer Manor Mansion and the Meyer farmland which was owned originally owned by R. Ball who sold the house to William Dittmer who in turn gave it to his daughter Margaret and son-in-law John Meyer. John was too busy fighting in the Union army to do much celebrating with his comrades. Maybe you're hearing/seeing the ghosts of the previous owners and family members who are angry that some greedy

Comment by Danielle: If ur referring to Meyer Manor in Cedar Lake Indiana that's my familys home my grandmother lived there with her husband and eight children my uncle von still lives there and my brother lives on the land as well.
