I was in the old gym girls' locker room at the high school at 1 in the morning back from a late competition. I opened my gym locker and after I had got my stuff out it slammed suddenly. Immediately after the showers (on the other side of the room) suddenly came on.
I ran as fast as I could out the locker room and into the parking lot.

I'm employed at the Shoals School, and while working there at night I've had experiences throughout the entire school. (Night shift custodians clean the entire school by alternating tasks every other night. ) I've heard desks scoot on their own in the intermediate classrooms and saw a white misty fog glide into the new bathrooms in the high school. (Then I had to go in there and clean it, and I did not like it a bit. ) I saw a pair of feet take three steps then vanish in a grade school class room. Ok, that one frightened me, so I ran out the room and found solace in my fellow employee, who was having trouble shutting down a phone that was going crazy in an intermediate classroom. I have had a projector in a preschool classroom come on by itself and projecting the word ''Hey'' in bold black letters on the screen. (Teachers are the only ones With the computer keyword to turn the projectors on. )

When all tasks are done for the night, doors must be checked for security, and recently while checking the high schools far west end, I had something walking beside me, matching my steps. Trying to debunk this, I stopped, thinking it was just loose tile on the floor, but, whatever it was, kept taking, very audible steps. Noticing this, I left the hall briskly walking, maintaining some composure while the steps followed me to the next floor, and then just stopped. No rhyme, no reason, these events are unexplainable. I've witnessed more as well as my fellow employees. I just mentioned a few.

Comment by Anonymous: I was employed at Shoals School too. Eight years worth of strangeness happened to me and my co- workers, and we have all traded our expenses with each other. Sometimes working in pairs because it would at times be just downright creepy to work alone. Being-studied-and-read type of feeling and unnerving incidents would take place. Things I've seen with my own eyes furthering validations of ''strange happenings'' were captured on security cameras throughout the school. The whole building is haunted, no doubt in my mind.
