The Tunnelton train tunnel is without a doubt haunted. On one occasion me and my buddies were having a goodtime and wandered into the tunnel. The real tale of the tunnel is that when they were building a worker by the name of Shannon Brock was head of construction.
Now it wasn't always this way. About half way into the construction of the tunnel the crew accidentaly dug underneath a cemetery. Coffins fell through the ceiling of the un-bricked

tunnel. After this Shannon knew it was a haunted area by hearing sounds of moans and screams and at times laughter as the crew worked through the night.

men were killed in a cave in and 4 more do to a desease that swemp the Tunnelton area. One night as Shannon was wondering alone through the tunnel (being proud of what he had accomplished) he was surprised by a train.
In the tunnel there are many cubbies made so that someone caught in the tunnel could escape the strong winds produced by a locomotive from sweeping them underneath the train resulting in death.
