I went to west Baden in April 2010 and was walking out the main entrance front door I looked to my left an I saw an American Indian sitting in one of the chairs on the porch he looked very sad I started to move toward the Indian to get a better look and he just disappeared.
Probably a ghost of the many Indians that inhabited the area in long gone days.

July 27 09 I visited the West Baden, it was pretty freaky when I was in the shower at midnight with a full moon and freaky things always happen at 12.00 pm with a full moon. The lights started flickering, the shower water started to get extremely hot, it was the scariest thing ever.

My husband and I stayed at the West Baden Springs hotel... It's absolutely gorgeous and the service is fantastic. I told my husband that I thought the hotel was haunted. After he did the historic tour he came back and said that ghost trackers visit the hotel every year - confirming my suspicion.
When we left yesterday the elevator stopped on the first floor but the door would not open. We were pressing various buttons and nothing happened... All the sudden the elevator went to the second floor - the door never opened and than by itself went back down to the first floor.
