then that the guy he was fighting with escaped murder charges due to self defense, but word was that when he walked through town he always spit. When someone asked him why he spat all the time, the man said that when the other man's head was cut off by the train blood had shot out on him and in his mouth. He said that he could still taste the man's blood years later. This was probably back in the 30s or 40s when the man was killed.
