From 2007-2013 my family and I lived on the corner of Van Voast and Lincoln Road. I do not know the history of the house other than that we had bought the property from a widowed woman. We would always see shadows under the doors of several people walking back and forth. We had three Chihuahuas, and they would all sit on the couch and stare at the stairway leading to the second floor for, legitimately, hours several times a day. All three of them

would be sitting frozen.
The most terrifying moment was when I was in the shower in the basement one day. No one was home besides my mother, and

she was upstairs sleeping. The bathroom was enclosed but had about a one-and-a-half-foot gap from the ceiling. I saw clear as can be, a man seeming to peep over. I screamed so loud that I woke my mom up, thinking someone had broken into our house, but the basement door was dead bolted shut. Thinking about that moment still sends chills up my spine.
